ARMS's Dealer POS - Gun Dealers POS ARMS's Dealer POS from ARMS Software BATF compliant point of sale system ARMS's Dealer POS is designed to satisfy the needs of Gun Dealers, armorers, collectors and gun smiths who need to maintain the BATF's bound book and need a complete Point of Sale system. The Dealer POS also allows for complete inventory control and work order quoting, also profit and loss statements and remaining / re-order inventory reports. Acquisitions and disposition of firearms is handled via a quick A/D module, invoices or transfers. Designed as a tracking database, The Dealer POS serves as a point of sale tool allowing for invoices including firearms and general merchandise. Accounts receivable are updated automatically through the invoicing system or manually adjusted via the supplier/customer module.
The BATF Bound book is fully searchable by just about any criteria.
Inventory of general merchandise is tracked by make, model, manufacturer. SKU, quantity on hand as well as cost and sell price. Bar Code reading is supported for both guns and general merchandise. Cash drawers and receipt printers area supported as well as report printing through different (you decide) ports. ARMS Software can also provide bar code scanners, wands, cash drawers and receipt printers.
The Dealer POS comes complete with the entire zip code database for ease of address input for suppliers and customers, with periodic updates available. Pending invoices available for waiting periods and lay away's.
All reports and bound book reports are controlled through a sophisticated query tool that allows for subsets to be formulated on any set of condition.
Separate inventory control is provided for New/Used firearms and Repair work. A handy transfer inventory option is included for sending firearms out for additional work. Packing slips may be generated at this time. Repair records allow for work quotes to be generated on line, selecting parts from the merchandise database and work quotes from the quote database.
